Choose your lens purpose

Start with what you need your glasses for: distance, near work or no prescription correction.

Single vision: one main viewing distance

DISTANCE

For distance

Single-vision distance lenses use the prescription provided for seeing farther away.

NEAR

For near work

Single-vision reading lenses use the prescription provided for close-up tasks.

A distance pair and a reading pair have different purposes. Do not change your prescription values to create a different lens type.

Understand the reading options

Readers
Reading glasses for close-up tasks. Select the reading power you have been advised to use. Check the choices shown for your selected frame.
Prescription Reading
Reading glasses made to your near-vision glasses prescription. Use the prescription provided for reading. If your prescription includes an ADD value and you are unsure how to enter it, check with your eye care professional before ordering.

An ADD value by itself is not a complete reading prescription. Keep it separate from SPH; do not calculate new values yourself.

Non-prescription (plano)

Plano lenses have no prescription correction. This is a separate choice from single-vision distance or reading lenses.

Available choices are shown when you choose your lenses.
